A simple store-bought card can brighten the holidays for its recipient. But the custom touches used to create a handmade card convey more meaning and are far more personal, conveying a thoughtfulness that will last long after the holidays are over.

Create one-of-a-kind holiday greeting cards while learning the tips and techniques of professional card making from expert crafter Karen Cadogan. Explore embossing, debossing, masking, and creative paper folding. Learn the Bokeh technique to create soft, diffused effects with inks. The workshop focuses on every aspect of your holiday cards, from learning how to incorporate memorable greetings on the inside to practical tips on how to use tape to create an entirely new set of ink stamps.

Beginners and experienced card makers are welcome. All card-making supplies are provided, and participants leave with a generous assortment of premium cardstock paper, stamps, ink and inkpads, collage papers, ribbon, and other embellishments to continue crafting at least 20 holiday cards. Students are welcome to bring in personal embellishments or to upcycle old holiday cards, if they choose.

All supplies are provided (a supply fee of $40 is included in the workshop fee).
